First off start with a fiberglass rod (you can use pvc pipe if fiberglass is not available to you), you
can either make a round or rectanular sword with curved tip. Then using camping foam, secure the tip of the sword so that
the end of the rod isnt poking out and duct tape. Next, wrap the sword with with an inch or two of foam leaving your self
about a foot left for the handle. Duct tape and cover the sword with soft but durable material and tape it down. Then, wap
a ball of foam around the bottom of the sword so the end of the rod dosnt stick out. wrap with material and tape down. The
end effect should look like this:
